Hello, friends; it's been a while.

I've returned to a shiny, new and permanent map on the server, so you know what that means: another chance to set up ambitious projects to procrastinate over work on.

First up, a hub home and teleport point. Why pick a spot when you can settle an island?

Of course, when no suitable island is available, one has to take matters into their own hands...

This will host some sort of ruined structure, occupied by traders of questionable legitimacy. First, though, the island needs to be terraformed into something resembling an island, and not a floating dirt platform. Once this little mess has seen some progress, I can turn my attention to what will be my main build on this map; a river valley realm.

It's about time for an update. Yes. Maybe? Sure.

I added a few more layers to the spawn island, which mean, as promised, turning my attention to where I've set up in this map. Behold, an actual river valley!

Of course, the first thing I did was to bury all the default rivers and ponds with landfill, because of course I did. A single river and stream network will return, eventually.

In the process of clearing up the water I found two almost-surface dungeons that I might or might not do something with. The skull marked on the map would probably make a decent skeletal catacomb...

Next up, however, will be to fell all the little default oak and birch trees. Once that's done, I'll switch back to working on the spawn island. Setting up spots for a teleport link might be smart, too, but being smart is not something I'm often accused of.
