As most of you know, I've been working on this for some time. It's still not finished, however, Claudia graciously agreed to having a role in it, she has done a fantastic job, and I feel that many of you may want to see it. Thus, I'm posting this even though I still have SO much to do!
So, a bit of background for those of you who aren't too acquainted, on a very basic level. I will try hard to avoid spoilers for those who just haven't seen the show yet. The Wall is what separates the land of the living from the land of the dead in Game of Thrones. It is a gigantic wall of ice constructed hundreds or thousands of years prior to the events of the show. It contains hidden passages and has runes or spells in it giving it extra strength. It has successfully repelled the dead for ages. At about the midpoint of the Wall, which stretches from west coast of Westeros to east coast, stands the mighty Castle Black. This was one of some dozen castles that lined the Wall and provided further defense against the encroachment of the Northern threat. It was the largest, and housed approximately 1,000 or 2,000 men in its heydey. At the time of Game of Thrones, however, it contains a mere couple hundred men, who are members of what is called the Night's Watch. Further along, down to the eastern end of the Wall, you may find a rift in the Wall and a strange creature attacking it! You may wonder why ever a creature like that would do such a thing! (The creature is Claudia's endeavor and she has done fantastic, you'll love it!) I'll not give out any more information. Please do check it out, and enjoy!!
You can arrive at the midpoint of the Wall by taking the North teleport from spawn, entering the nether portal that follows, and then riding the rails directly in front of you. There is a sign to make sure you go the right way. Be sure to go south upon entering Westeros, or the undead denizens of the North may give you an unholy welcome! Exploration of Castle Black will yield access to the Great Lift to ascend to the top of the Wall. Enjoy!
