I’m sure you’ve all seen plenty of San Fran shots, such as the Golden Gate Bridge jutting through that too common fog by the coast. I thought I’d go more local. I’m on the east bay, and the hills can be gorgeous. This is a view from a hiking trail. That’s a locally famous mountain peek in the distance, Mount Tamalpais.

To be fair, I don’t live on a hiking trail
Picture a typical suburb, strip malls and a good number of track homes - oh and way too many cars. My home is in the medium sized Bay Area City Hayward, pop. 149,392. The cities around the S.F. bay meet each other with little indication where one ends and the next starts.

Lovely place, Rat! My parents used to live in San Leandro, I loved visiting them there :D
