I'm trying to go smaller this season so I built on an island to set myself some limits. (We'll see how that goes) Here's the build so far.

From l-r:Main house with pool and hot tub, warehouse/barn with my face painted on top, auto farm that you can't see for all the bamboo, below that is my fishing shack, silos/storage then my condo style village complete with a new moat to contain all the golems.
Nether portal. first time doing this fog effect thing, not sure if im happy with it yet, tried to make it look like it was being thrown up from the sea?
Farmer Gem, who owns the local Farm and Ranch supply, was doing some research in her underwater lab located just off the coast of her private island. Trying to find better ways to feed the world, she came up with a growth serum to manipulate the growth of pumpkins and melons specifically. Two months into the project, the lab was attacked by a small group of drowned.
In the process of trying to lock down the facility, the drowned inadvertently smashed some of the vials of growth test #404 and some of the lab techs were splashed with the serum.
The serum quickly took over and before the lab could be evacuated the local plant life was already being activated by test #404. The decision was made and the whole area was put in a stasis field until such time could be determined how it can either be contained permanently or destroyed.
The melon stalk, now 125 feet tall is still visible and remains a monolith to farmer Gem's commitment to the people, although since the accident she has not been seen nor heard of and Ranch Supply has not issued a statement concerning the status of the project.
Although, there were rumors of a fortress being built by Farm and Ranch Supply Industries. Who knows what tests were being conducted in this facility remains a mystery as it too has been abandoned....
