Below is the culmination of 8 months of building.
In the Northwest, just across from the White Rose Pirate Cliffs, sits the settlement of the Vatnsmelóna Clan--known as "The Melon Vikings" to simpletons. The area sports several oddities, including an underwater tentacle and one lone villager. More offensively, its' walls are built out of stone and they have a windmill, two things which are historically inaccurate according to the White Rose Pirates. Those dumb-dumbs are stifling my creativity.
My personal goal for this project was to create a cold area. This biome is classified as Frozen Tundra, but was made out of mostly sand and dirt. I replaced most of that sand and dirt with stone variants, snow, and ice. The docks are actually placed in a Lukewarm Ocean, but because I filled it with ice and removed the sand and dirt, I was able to completely alter the feel of the warmer water.

I have crafted 20,727 snow blocks. I have placed 20,200 snow blocks. 18 Snow Golems lost their lives due to accidental creation and/or accidental slaying. If you visit for any reason, do it for the Snow Golems who gave their lives (and their snow) to this project.
